Where are you located?
We are located on the upper campus of the University of Utah between the L.S. Skaggs Pharmacy building and the Biomedical Polymers Research Building, with a walkway connected to the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library.
Can I get there by Trax or shuttle?
The HSEB is serviced by the Red, Blue, Yellow and Black University Shuttle lines, which are free for anyone on campus. In addition, numerous Utah Transit Authority (UTA) public transit routes, including Trax, can get you to campus easily and efficiently while avoiding the hassles of traffic and parking. Check with UTA for more information.
Where can I park?
There is limited visitor parking in the vicinity of the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. Most parking on campus is fee-based. The University Hospital Parking Terrace provides free, limited parking to patients and visitors. The Parking Terrace east of the Biomedical Polymers Building (southeast of the library), has hourly parking for visitors.
Campus Parking for University students, staff or faculty with "A", "U", or "E" stickers.
Campus Parking Lots are located south and west of the library for the most part (see map). Parking regulations are enforced year-round, including periods between semesters. Permit parking is enforced from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 10:00 p.m. where posted. Fire lanes, restricted areas, designated reserved spaces and parking spaces for disabled drivers are enforced 24 hours every day of the year.
Parking for Drivers with Disabilities
Parking stalls for drivers with handicapped plates are identified by the international wheelchair symbol painted on the asphalt and marked with a blue post. Campus visitors with disabilities can park in disabled visitor parking stalls only, or they can purchase a parking day pass.
Metered parking in front of the library: six 1-hour spaces and two 2-hour spaces.
- Visit the University of Utah Parking and Transportation Services website for more information.
