COVID-19 Testing – Spring Semester
ALL STUDENTS, FACULTY AND STAFF
For symptomatic or confirmed exposure (via contact tracing)
University students, faculty or staff with COVID-19 symptoms or confirmed exposure should call the University of Utah health and testing hotline at 801-587-0712 or visit https://healthcare.utah.edu/coronavirus/reserve-test/ to schedule an appointment through University of Utah Health.
Students, faculty and staff can also visit the state’s coronavirus site at https://coronavirus.utah.gov/testing-locations/ to find additional testing locations.
U of U Health faculty and staff with COVID-19 symptoms or confirmed exposure should call work Wellness at 801-581-2227 (select option 1) before returning to work.

Information & New Policy
Pandemic access restriction: There is a New Policy and Face Covering Requirements to schedule a room in EHSEB. This New Policy will be in place for any scheduling of EHSEB rooms beginning August 1, 2020. Please read this New Policy and view new room capacity before submitting a Request for a Room. For access to laptops (students only) and other computer support issues please message Eccles Health Sciences Library Systems group.

Guidelines For Your Safety:
- Maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet from everyone.
- Private social gatherings are limited to 10 people.

- Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.

In an abundance of caution, and for your safety, some services will not be available.
This status aligns with a new COVID-19 Transmission Index implemented by the state of Utah on Oct. 15, 2020. The index uses a high, moderate and low framework based on public health metrics that correspond directly with case rates, positivity rates and ICU use in a county. In addition to state guidelines, a full list of campus guidelines while in the high transmission level can be found below. Members of the campus community should also protect themselves and our healthcare system as we enter flu season by getting a flu shot.

Computer Lab
The EHSEB computer lab is temporarily closed for general usage. If you have a scheduled event, your educator will provide access to the lab.

Health Campus Bookstore
At this time, Health Campus Store in EHSEB will remain closed to the public. However, the store is open for those with badge-access to EHSEB. The store will continue to offer curbside service and encourage patrons to take advantage of this service. Those who choose to shop in-store are required to wear face coverings at all times, maintain physical distancing, and limit the size of their shopping groups.
To keep customers safe as the COVID-19 pandemic endures, Campus Store staff are taking all necessary precautions and have implemented several safety guidelines. All staff members are required to wear face coverings, tight aisles will be limited to one-way traffic, partitions have been installed where necessary, shopping carts and other frequently touched surfaces are disinfected continually, dressing rooms are temporarily closed, and staff temperatures will be checked at the employee entrance.
